Jeffrey Mack Obituary
August 21, 1964 - November 22, 2024
VERONA - Jeffrey John Mack, age 60, of Verona, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Charter Senior Living, Verona. He was born on August 21, 1964, in Madison, Wis., the son of Robert and Carole (Sersch) Mack.
Jeff graduated from Middleton High School in 1982 and then MATC. He worked as a programmer analyst for Great Lakes Insurance Company. He attended St. Bernard Catholic Church in Middleton and St. Christopher Catholic Church in Verona.
Jeff had a passion for photography and enjoyed capturing moments. He cherished the connections he made with people he encountered daily and will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor.
Jeff is survived by his brothers, David (Missy) Mack and Scott Mack; sister, Michelle Wallestad; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carole Mack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. CHRISTOPHER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 301 N. Main St., Verona, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, November 30, 2024, with Father Scott Emerson presiding. Burial will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 4 to 6 p.m., on Friday, November 29, 2024, and also at the church, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the organization of the donor's choosing in Jeff's memory would be appreciated by the family.
Jeff's family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of VA Hospital and Clinic in Madison, staff at Charter Senior Living in Verona, and the staff at St. Croix Hospice for all of the kind and compassionate care they gave him.
