Jeffrey Harold Orwin, 71, passed away on July 6, 2025, in Oregon, Wisconsin.
Born on July 4, 1954, Jeffrey brought joy and warmth to those around him throughout his life. He built a successful career in health and safety management at the University of Wisconsin, where his dedication and professionalism left a lasting impact.
Jeffrey was known for his fun-loving spirit and happy demeanor. He was a wonderful husband to Kim Orwin, who preceded him in death. His memory lives on through his son Alex Orwin; his sister Carolyn Pauls and her husband Todd Pauls; his father-in-law Willard Durrant; and many nieces and nephews who cherished his presence in their lives.
May Jeffrey's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will be announced in the near future.
To honor his memory you may visit and bring flowers to his and Kim's grave in the Oregon Cemetery.

Jeff was like another brother to me. He was a great guy and will be missed. My deepest sympathies to the whole family.

So sorry to hear of Jeff´s passing. I knew Jeff and (Kim) from Jeff´s time working in the OR at UW Hospital on the cleaning crew. I was an RN in the OR. We shared a love of motorcycles and music. We spent some time talking motorcycles and lamenting why we both had sold our older 2-cycle street bikes. After UW eliminated permanent housekeeping crews in the OR, we saw less of each other and as life goes, sort of moved on to other pursuits and friends. Again my condolences. Jeff was one of the good ones.
