Kimberly Krueger Obituary
November 1, 1982 - June 23, 2025
Kimberly Kay (Fahrney) Krueger, 42, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025. Kimberly was born on November 1, 1982, (All Saints Day) in Madison, WI, to parents Donald and Mary Kay Fahrney.
Kim graduated from James Madison Memorial High School in Madison, WI, in 2001. She attended University of Wisconsin La Crosse and then went on to continue her education at Western Technical College in La Crosse, WI, and graduated with honors in the Nursing Program.
Kimberly married Jason Krueger on September 4, 2005. Kim and Jason made their home in rural Coon Valley, WI. Kim enjoyed being a stay at home mom for her daughter Ruby.
Kimberly is survived by her loving husband, Jason, and her precious daughter Ruby Mary; her parents, Donald and Mary Kay Fahrney, siblings John (Lisa), Tim (Sarah) and Lisa, Jason's parents Jim and Mary Krueger and brothers-in-law, James Jr. (Ruth) and Jon Krueger.
She is further survived by her uncle Robert Reuter, aunts and uncles Sue and Tom Bartling, Richard and Eileen Fahrney, Marilyn Fahrney, several cousins, nieces and nephews, her close friend Emily Bopf, her horse Ryngleader, and many other beloved pets.
She was preceded in death by her aunt Shirley Reuter, her paternal grandparents John Fahrney, Luella and Bud McNeil; her maternal grandparents Wilfred and Mary Boyle, her special horse Electralyte and her first cat Magic.
Kimberly was kind and thoughtful and will be missed by family and friends. She was an expert horse woman and won many medals and ribbons particularly in 4H. She especially loved living in her home on the ridge.
Kim suffered from numerous ongoing medical conditions and is now at peace and will no longer suffer the pain she endured her last years.
A visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2025, at Fredrickson Funeral Home, Woodruff Chapel, 4239 Mormon Coulee Road, La Crosse. Following the visitation at the funeral home, a Celebration of Kim's life will continue at Timmer's Ten Mile Pub, at the corner of highway 14/61 South and County Road YY.
