Lawrence "Larry" Mattie, 91, of Madison, a proud Veteran of the Korean War, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Nellie Mattie, and his brother, Raymond Mattie.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Marie; children Jeffrey (Catherine) Mattie, Charmaine (Dennis) Harbort, Kim Winburn, and Lisa Lauth; grandchildren Eric, Derek, Brian, Jason, Aaron, Ryan, Madalyn, Riley, and Alec; five great-grandchildren; siblings Sharon (Kerry) Byers, Harriet Schmidt, Richard (Dorothy) Mattie, and sister-in-law Judy Mattie.
Visitation will be held at Cress Funeral Home, Madison, 3323 E. Washington Ave. on December 5th, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service.
