Marie Soderholm Obituary
May 10, 1930 - May 18, 2025
MIDDLETON - Marie Catherine Soderholm, age 95, of Middleton, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Tennyson Senior Living. She was born on May 10, 1930, in Cross Plains, the daughter of John and Catherine (Kalscheur) Saeman.
Marie graduated from Edgewood High School in 1948. She married John Soderholm on October 30, 1954, and they made Middleton their forever home. Marie worked as an administrative assistant for UW-Madison in the nutritional sciences department.
Marie was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Middleton and enjoyed singing in the choir. She volunteered at Middleton Outreach Ministry for many years. She was always willing to help a friend or neighbor.
For over 60 years, Marie enjoyed playing Euchre in her card club and walking with friends and family. Mom was cherished by her family for her sewing skills, rhubarb custard pie, frozen chocolate chip cookies and witty sense of humor.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Karen Soderholm and Judith (Eric) Lindblad; sons, Andrew (Jen) Soderholm, David Soderholm and Paul (Susan) Soderholm; brother, John (Carol) Saeman; granddaughters, Rebecca Soderholm and Erika Soderholm; grandsons, Alex Lindblad, Dane Lindblad and Owen Soderholm; and great-granddaughters, Alannah Soderholm and Lexi Lindblad. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; sisters, Edith Buechner and Bernadine Buffum; and brother, Kenneth Saeman.
Services will be held at a later date.

Well, I am Sure that My Mom Ruth Brooks is up in Heaven welcoming Marie In . And have already sat down for a Highly Competitive Round of Cards ! I know how much they all looked foward to Their CCard Club ! It was Just as Important as going to Church ! When they are done playing Cards , John & Marie and My Mom and Dad , Dick & Ruth go out Dancing or out to Eat ot Both , Enjoying each others Company Once Again ! GOD BLESS THEM ALL !
