MADISON - Mark Anthony Calabrese, age 67, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will take place at Blooming Grove Cemetery at a later date.

I met Mark in kindergarten . We were good friends all through High-school. Got to know his family very well also. I moved away from Madison after then. When we got together it was always alot of laughs and good time. He was Godfather to our daughter Heather. Thoughts and prayers to the Calabrese family.

My parents were good friends with Mark's parents. I worked at Jacob's with Mark. Mark always did his job and never complained. I never heard Mark say an unkind word about anyone. The highest honor any man can earn is to be called a gentleman and Mark was a gentleman. Rest in peace.
