Michael James Draper

December 22, 1966 - July 19, 2025

Michael J. Draper, born December 22, 1966 to Thomas and Ursel Draper in Madison. During his career Mike was a Master Fabricator/Welder for the City of Madison Water Utility who could build anything he put his mind to. He loved building cars and bikes. He leaves behind his friend, Amy Ninedorf-Draper; mother, Ursel (Hans); sister, Carmen (Wally) Dyer; children, Shane (Taylor) and Sidnee; granddaughters, Avah and Everleigh, a niece, nephews; and his special friends, Bill Ellner, Carrie and Hans Gruendemann along with Bev Ninedorf. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas and Stanford Ninedorf. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 20, 2025 at Sun Prairie VFW Post 9362, 2 to 6 p.m.

My condolences to the entire family. I always enjoyed Mike's company during our many wrestling events. Fond memory of one severally broken nose from Mike on the wrestling mat. He will be missed.
