Michael G. "Mike" Imhoff

MADISON - Michael G. "Mike" Imhoff, age 73, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, after a brief illness.
Mike was born on October 13, 1949, in Madison, WI, the son of Gregory Imhoff and Catherine (Kurt) Imhoff. He graduated from Central High School, followed by military service in the U.S. Army, serving in Viet Nam. Upon his return, he worked 35-plus years at Oscar Mayer. He then worked at Clasen Quality Coatings for five years.
Mike was a fan of classic TV, particularly Gunsmoke and M.A.S.H. He enjoyed Milwaukee baseball, first the Braves then the Brewers. He also enjoyed college basketball. If he wasn't watching TV, he was listening to music. He lived and loved his simple life.
Mike married Judy Ripp on October 14, 1972. He is survived by his wife, Judy; his sisters: Janice (Jim) Griffin, Shirley Imhoff, and Debbie Orvick; brothers, Jerry (Cherie), Ron (Cindy), Joe (Mary Birmingham) and Tim (Lisa Marshall); along with many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Debbie Imhoff and Cindy (Jim) Hoyt; along with Judy's sister, Sharon (Tom) Hildebrandt; and brothers: Steve (Carol Spicuzza) and Dale (Joan).
He was preceded in death by his sisters: Donna Witzel and Joan Olson; brothers: John, Robert and Richard; his wife's parents, Vincent and Regina Ripp; and brother-in-law, Ronald Ripp.
A private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Meriter Hospital.
