Monika Fuehrer Obituary
July 7, 2025
Monika Lyn Fuehrer, age 55, passed away on July 7 at Agrace Hospice, Madison. She will be forever missed by the love of her life, son, Jaren Whiteaker; parents, Randy and Arlene Phillips; sister, Leslie Phillips; brother, Ryan (Becki) Phillips; nephew, Wesley; and countless other family and friends. An informal celebration of life will be held on October 12, from 1 to 5 p.m. at VFW Post 8483, Madison. Memorial donations may be given in Monika's name to Agrace, online or by mail (agrace.org).

I´m so deeply saddened to hear this news. Monika was truly a bright light-her energy was infectious, her smile radiant. She was always quick to laugh and connect, share memories and make new ones. We will miss, miss you, Monika! Thank you for sharing that joy inside of you while you were here. We were all better for knowing you.

I met Monika here at Paragon Place three years when she was in property management and we became fast friends. I loved her sharp wit and her stories about her beloved son Jaren. I miss her so much.....

I remember moving to Florida and being the new person. I was new to the state. I was new to the area. I was new to the company. You were so welcoming and we became fast friends. We were both pregnant at the same time and shared all of our worries and complaints. When our sons were born, we were a comfort to each other. We shared our baby firsts and all the joys. Remember the time that there was a roach at the Mexican restaurant and the waiter just smashed it on our table? I think we would both giggle about that now. We kept in touch long distance and somehow the last message we exchanged was already five years ago. People grow apart and our lives went in different directions. I just found out today that you passed. How I wish that I would´ve talked to you sooner. I´ll always remember you as such a beautiful person inside and out. I´ll always remember how much you loved that beautiful boy. I´m very glad to have had the time I had with you. Rest in peace, my friend. My condolences to your family and especially Jaren. Your mom was one special lady.

I'm so sorry to hear of Monika's passing. She was a wonderful person and was my neighbor growing up. We carpooled together in High School. I'll forever be thankful for our friendship. R.I.P. Monika
