MADISON - Patrick Rogers, age 87, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Bedrock Health Care Center in Beaver Dam. He was born on February 16, 1938, in Madison, the son of Clyde and Wilma (Ward) Rogers.

Patrick graduated from Central High School in 1956. He was united in marriage to Carol Peirce on January 31, 1959, in Beloit.

Patrick began his career at A&W Grocery Store, where he spent three years as a produce clerk before becoming a meat cutter-a role he proudly held for nearly three decades. He later continued his work at Woodman's Grocery Store until his retirement.

Patrick and Carol loved spending time outdoors, especially camping in Pardeeville and at Devil's Lake. They also enjoyed traveling to casinos-both locally and on memorable trips to Las Vegas. Bowling was another shared passion, which Patrick also did alongside his brothers on a men's league.

Patrick treasured the simple joys of life, including relaxing at the VFW with friends, sharing stories, laughter, and good company. He was grateful for the wonderful neighbors who became part of his daily life, and he deeply valued time spent with family. He was also a proud member of the Moose Club.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Lorri Roth (Gary) and Patti Snyder; son, Michael (Diana) Rogers; five grandchildren, Mandy (Rosny) Volney, Tony (Nina) Roth, Wendy (Josh) Crawford, Dylan Meysembourgh and Allison Rogers; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler) Toseff, Adam Toseff, Kiara Lee, Kalaan Lee, Nicholas Meysembourgh, Nolan Roth and Alina Roth; great-great-granddaughter, Elianna Johnson; sisters-in-law, Sally Rogers and Lois Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Wilma; brothers, Jack (Lavonne) Rogers, Jim (Cherie) Rogers, Royce (Eileen) Rogers, Robert (Dorothy) Rogers, Richard Rogers and Tom Rogers; sister, Mary (Frank) Knox; and granddaughter, Mikayla Rogers.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
