Robert Conway Obituary
August 6, 1945 - July 3, 2025
MADISON - Robert Charles Conway, son of Frank and Lucy Conway, age 79, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital due to an extended illness with Parkinson's Disease.
A lifelong learner, he graduated from Madison Central High School in 1963. He completed graduate studies in social work and worked for Rock County for two decades. Robert earned a Ph.D. in Accounting in 1992 and taught as a tenured professor at UW-Platteville until his retirement in 2011, then continued to enjoy seminars and courses throughout his retirement.
A funeral Mass will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Friday.
