CAZENOVIA - Ronald R. Jasper, age 83, of Cazenovia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2022. He was born on August 30, 1939 in Cazenovia, WI, the son of Conrad and Wanita (Frank) Jasper. He was united in marriage to Janet Dvorak. This marriage was blessed with four daughters.
Ron was employed by Alliant Energy for 25 years while farming in the Cazenovia area as well. Growing up he played many sports which were his passion. He played on many different teams in baseball, softball, and in high school played football and basketball. Ron loved to watch all sports and also coached many sports. He was known to give commentary in the stands and did critique many officials. He loved Weston and served on the school board and coached many children in all sports. He loved his family and his dog Gus, whom stayed at his side until the end. He did not want a funeral and did not like a lot of attention, so his wishes will be granted.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Francis, Elmer (Margaret), sister: Geraldine/Cherry (Don).
Ron is survived by his wife, Janet of Cazenovia; daughters: Susan (Greg) McDonough, Tammy (Greg) Rockweiler, Lori (John) Klippel, and Melissa Jasper; grandchildren: Nick, Beth, Zack, Josh, Emily, Corey, Lindsay, Shane, Terra, Riley and Zach; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial visitation for Ronald will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, September 26, 2022 at St. Anthony's School, Cazenovia.
