Stephanie Easton Obituary

Stephanie Easton

Feb. 28, 1977 - April 30, 2024

MADISON - In loving memory of Stephanie Easton, a compassionate and generous person who touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Stephanie was born in Madison, Wis., on Feb. 28, 1977, with an innate love for music. She was a walking music encyclopedia who carried a song wherever she went.

A friend to everyone, Stephanie will be remembered for her authenticity and kindness to those in need. Her unwavering compassion extended to her love for animals. Stephanie saw the best in everyone and everything. She was a uniquely genuine person who faced life with bravery and positivity.

Stephanie passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Archie and Velma Easton and Atlee and Sarah Jane Wilson. She is survived by her parents, Paul and Barbara Easton; and her brother, Ryan and his wife, Amber Easton.

As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers a memorial contribution be made to the P.A.C.T. organization who provided Stephanie with care for many years. Please mail contributions to Paul and Barbara Easton, c/o Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, WI, 53716.

A special thanks to Michelle and Carly for all their love and support. The family appreciates Agrace HospiceCare's support for Stephanie.

A family celebration will be held at a later date.

I only met Stephanie briefly. I never had a chance to get to know her.

What I do know is that no Mother nor Father should ever lose a child.

Barb and Paul, I am so sorry for your loss.

Decades ago after my loss, my Father offered the following words of comfort which I now share with you.

"Each day, a little easier"

Let me know if I can help in any way.
