As a past Dane County sanitarian for 28 years I had a lot of interaction with Steve. I always enjoyed working with him and considered him a friend. He was an all around good guy. My prayers are for you, his family, as Steve is in a better place now, free of pain and earthly things. I hope we all join him someday when our time comes to see God on all of his glory. Hold the many good memories in your heart.

Sending our love and sympathy in this sad time. We were so lucky to have Steve as part of our family. His love and generosity to all of us will live in our hearts forever. More like a brother than a cousin. Many crazy and fun memories we will all cherish forever. Rest in peace until we meet again. Love, Jean Acker Parks
