Offering heartfelt condolences to all of Terese's loved ones. I had the pleasure of working with her for the past 8 years on various programs at UW and she was truly my favorite person to work with. From our first interaction, her kind, refreshing, direct, realist attitude made me feel at home. She spoke with pride and joy of Sam and family. Her energy, positivity, and dedication never seemed to waiver even thru the many months of treatment. I know she will be greatly missed.

I met Therese organizing continuing medical education conferences for Physicians for Social Responsibility and working with her was refreshing and wonderful. Therese would always do what she said, reliably; would listen to figure out a way to solve arising problems; go out of her way to make sure things happened; accept the realities of working with us volunteers who were not always as reliable and somehow find joy in that with us; tell us honestly when there were real problems. I could always count on Therese and we all have lost such a refreshingly straightforward, hardworking human being with a great sense of humor. What a blessing to have known and worked with her - Therese gave me hope that among humans we can work it out and make things happen! Thank you!
