Anderson, Todd David
MADISON - Todd David Anderson passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022. A Madison, Wis., native, Todd attended East High School and enjoyed all things Wisconsin had to offer - boating, fishing, his Harley Davidson, the Wisconsin Badgers, and of course, the Green Bay Packers. All those who knew Todd, knew that martial arts were his true passion. He traveled the world learning and teaching, sharing his gift of teaching Matayoshi Kobudo and Shorin Ru Karate. Being honored as "Sensei Anderson" was his greatest pride.
Todd is survived by his partner, Carole Seeliger and her children, Kari (Carter) Seeliger and Jessica (Justin) Schmitt; his mother, Patricia Anderson; brother, Kyle (Courtney) Anderson; and sister, Lynn (Mike) Christoph. Todd remains lifted in love by his grandchildren, Rachael, Keeley, Layla and Cataleya; numerous nieces and nephews; and his karate students and karate family. Todd was preceded in death by his father, Robert Anderson.
A memorial service will be held for Todd at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of the service on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022. Donations to the Goodman Center can be made in Todd's name at 214 Waubesa St., Madison, WI 53704. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
