Wanda E. (Loye) Julseth
July 22, 1924 - April 10, 2023
MADISON - Wanda E. (Loye) Julseth, age 98, of Madison, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Oakwood Village East. She was born on July 22, 1924, in Fitchburg, Wis., the daughter of Charles and Lela (Severson) Loye.
Wanda graduated from Madison East High School with the class of 1942. She married Roger Julseth on Feb. 20, 1946, in Madison. She retired from Research Products after 40 years.
Wanda enjoyed dancing, cooking and baking. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir for many years.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Diann (Steve) Kaatz; grandson, Justin; two great-grandchildren, Jada and Luxton; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; grandson, James; parents; a brother and sister.
A funeral service will be held at HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 734 Holy Cross Way, Madison, at 12 noon on Saturday, April 22, 2023, with the Rev. Mark Bartels presiding. A luncheon will immediately follow the service. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Entombment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be gifted in Wanda's name to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Oakwood East and Oakwood Preferred Hospice for all of the wonderful care and support given to Wanda and her family.
