William Lee Obituary

MADISON - William Robert "Bill" Lee, age 80, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at St. Mary's Care Center. He was born on October 31, 1944, in Madison, Wis., the son of Robert and Genevive (Kelly) Lee.
Bill graduated from Central High School in 1962. He married Susan (Larscheid) Lee on June 21, 1971, in Green Bay, Wis. Prior to retirement, Bill enjoyed a career as a business consultant with the Roberts Construction Company and oversaw IT management at Wisconsin Power and Light, where he was also instrumental behind the installation of personal computing in the corporation. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, playing cards with his friends, and watching Badgers sports. He also enjoyed cooking on the grill, and he loved spending time in Door County with his family.
William is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, Luke Lee and Adam (Tracy) Lee; grandchildren, Cooper Lee, Emmitt Lee and Mackenzie Lee; sister, Sharon (Jim) Olle; and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at GOOD SHEPHERD CATHOLIC PARISH AT THE ST. JAMES CHURCH, 1128 St. James Court, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, 2033 Fish Hatchery Road, Madison, WI 53713. Bill volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul in the food pantry. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
