Margaret Thomson Obituary
Born in Madison, South Dakota, she was the daughter of Mary and Orville Olson and attended Madison High School. She lived in Rapid City, Albuquerque, Portales, and finally Arizona, raising her daughters Melanie and Melissa and adoring her grandchildren Tyler, Madison, and Abby.
Margaret loved her cat, enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, homemaking, and reading mysteries. She worked as secretary at the ENMU Art Department, as a realtor, and as a business owner. She and her husband built homes together and she devoted herself to ensuring her children had what they needed.
In later years, she faced dementia and COPD, but she remained bright and warm for her family. She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, and siblings Jim Olson, Bruce Olson, Craig Olson, Val Manthey, Gail Booth, and Cecelia Dewaard. She is remembered with those who have passed, including her sister Melanie Coffey and her parents Mary and Orville Olson.
Margaret will be remembered for her love, humor, and the care she gave to those around her.

I met Peggy as a sophomore in High School. We were cheerleaders together, sleepovers, a greyhound bus trip to Denver to see my brother as Seniors, All of my memories of Peggy include her smiles, laughter and her genuine caring. You all have my sympathy and prayers. She lives in in all your memories and you will make far more together in Heaven
