Justen Anthony Starnes

August 5, 1984 – July 10, 2021.

Justen A. Starnes, 36 passed away on July 10, 2021. Justen was a kindhearted, loving, caring, jokester. He loved making people laugh and smile. He enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, boating, golfing, and snowmobiling. He always loved having family and friends over for gatherings and BBQs. Justen was born in Exeter California.

Justen served four years in the United States Navy from 2003 – 2007. He did a tour to Iraq and was stationed in San Diego, California on the USS Boxer. His duties were those of a firefighter as well as search and rescue. After the Navy, he began a career as an electrician until the time of his passing.

Justen is survived by his daughter; Blayklee June Starnes, his parents; Shane and Laurie Johnson, Scott A. Starnes, his sisters; Lauren Ashley Starnes, Kendra Elizabeth Johnson (Scott) Perkins, his nephews; Mason Alexander Capps, Riggen Lee Perkins, his niece; Paisley Jean Perkins, and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on August 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Shane and Laurie Johnson's home, where military honors will be presented by the Magic Valley Honor Guard and Navy Honor Guard. 240 Ranch View E. Jerome, ID 83338.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a trust fund for his daughter Blayklee June at Edward Jones in Twin Falls, ID. You can call 208-733-1000 for donations or questions.
