Karla Jean (Sanders) Spencer

So sorry, sad and surprised to hear of Karla's passing. We just reconnected at the TF class reunion this summer. We talked a lot about quilting, fabric hoarding and shared interests. We share more than the name "Karla Jean."
I am standing behind her and to the side (in blue) in the class picture we took. Looks like she lived a full, rich and happy life. May God bless and comfort her family. Rejoice in every beautiful stitch she left in the "Life's Memory Quilt" she created for you all to remember her.

Karla will be missed assuredly, but it will be for a short time as we will see one another in the next life. My prayers will include my friends: Dale, Jim, and Brent as they mourn and celebrate the life of their loved one.

Karla was a very special lady, warm, caring, quite intelligent, curious about the world around her, I was honored to have known her, she made my life better just because of her friendship.

Karla was so encouraging to me as I began to learn to quilt. The first few quilts I took Dale were all the same pattern. Karla told me that I needed to try a new pattern. She showed me several she thought I could try as a beginner. Karla was always helpful when trying to decide on a quilt design for my quilt. She and Dale were quite the team.
