Paul Delbert Morrison
September 15, 1959 ~ February 10, 2021
Paul Delbert Morrison, a 61-year-old resident of Rupert, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, after a long battle with MS, followed by COVID pneumonia. His family would like to thank Countryside Care & Rehab and Dr. Swensen for their loving care.
Paul was born September 15, 1959, to Bill and Norma Morrison and lived in the Mini-Cassia area.
Paul went hard in everything he did. He never ever waited for tomorrow. He played hard, worked and loved hard. He had a deep love for gardening and cheese burgers. He lived his life to the very end on his terms doing what he wanted. He was kind of stubborn that way. He decided it was time to move on; he had more stuff to do. At Paul's wishes he wants ALL of you to play Led Zepplin, "Stair Way to Heaven" as loud as you can. He had a very deep love for music. He could tell you everything about any band. His favorite things were hunting, fishing, camping, and listening to loud music.
Paul married Valerie, and they later divorced. Born to this union were two loving children, Audrey and Trevor. He is survived by his children; his grandkids, Leah and Luke; his parents; his siblings, Susan (Scot) Campbell, Joe (Carolyn) Gribble, Jim Morrison, and Mary (Lony) Corr; and his nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m Wednesday, February 17, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn.
