Phyllis Jean (Lowe )Lulloff
June 6, 1933 - June 8, 2024
MERIDIAN - Phyllis Jean (Lowe) Lulloff, 91, passed peacefully on June 8, 2024 at Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village in Meridian, Idaho. Phyllis was born June 6, 1933, an only child to Leslie and Thelma Lowe.
Phyllis was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Growing up in Kimberly, Idaho, Phyllis made many life-long friends including a young boy, Bruce Lulloff, who years later after their paths crossed again as adults would marry in December 1952.
Upon retiring from daily farming in 1997, Phyllis and Bruce built their dream home in Twin Falls. Travelling became a passion of hers, even after Bruce's passing in 2001. Phyllis' life continued to expand as she began volunteering at St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center several days a week. Phyllis kept herself busy with volunteering, travelling, playing pinochle, gardening and remaining actively involved in the Kimberly Crossroads United Methodist Church while developing new friendships along the way. Her active life gave Phyllis purpose and enjoyment, but family was her true source of joy and happiness.
Phyllis was always there for her family even if it meant driving several hours to watch a grandchild or great-grandchild perform for just a few minutes in a program. She spent innumerable hours cross-stitching holiday tablecloths to leave for family members as a remembrance of her love for them. Phyllis' delight in her family was evident to all and created countless cherished family memories.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bruce, and also by two special and caring sisters-in-laws, Bruce's sisters. Phyllis is survived by son, Blake (Marva) Lulloff, daughter, Cindy (Tom) Sapp, son, Brent Lulloff, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A viewing for friends will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Rosenau Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A private family interment will be held later.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Luke's Magic Valley Health Foundation, Volunteer Services Fund, PO Box AK 83303, Twin Falls, ID or the Alzheimer's Association.
