TWIN FALLS - Rex Leroy Nebeker of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the dawn of his birth on May 30, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on May 30, 1940, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Graduated from Twin Falls Senior High School, Twin Falls, Idaho. Attended Ricks College and Business School, Rexburg, Idaho.
Married Paula N. VanHoosen September 30, 1961 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Rex was a Master Craftsman/Contractor for 60 years, showcasing his skill and dedication to his profession. He was a talented individual who took pride in his work.
Rex enjoyed various hobbies including camping, motorcycling, creating wood furniture and the like and later in life showcasing his literary skills by writing novels.
After a serious brain infection, Rex was able to pen four short novels that made it to print. He had a deep love for animals and cherished spending time in nature, especially by a fire at night watching the moon.
Rex is survived by his brother, Jess Nebeker, Jr. of Burley, ID; sister, Brenda McCandless of San Tan Valley, Arizona; daughters: Kathy M. Nebeker of Twin Falls, ID, Kristina R. Heering of Emmett, ID and Karen K. Savage of Twin Falls, ID.
Preceded in death by his father, Jess Nebeker; mother, Marjorie Nebeker; brother, Ronald C. Nebeker; sisters: Barbara Heinz, and Ranae Stastny; grandson, Drew Denman; and his wife, Paula N. Nebeker, in October, 2023.
A Celebration of Life service for Rex L. Nebeker and Paula N. Nebeker will be held on July 21, 2024, at the Slice Restaurant, 132 Main Ave. North, Twin Falls, ID at 2:00 PM.

Rex had a great place up in the Stanley area and several times my son Andy would pick me up from River Rat where I worked to go visit them, Rex loved that area
