Robb Peck Obituary

Robb Kay Peck, 73, of Carey, Idaho, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, in his home in Richfield, Idaho, surrounded by love. Robb was born on February 27, 1952, to Ross and Berdina Peck in Carey, Idaho. After graduating from Carey High School, he served an LDS mission in France/Switzerland from 1971–1973. In 1975, Robb met Kathi Dayton at Ricks College, and they were married later that year in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they welcomed five children. Following the passing of Robb's brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Janice Peck, Robb and Kathi were blessed to welcome five additional children into their home. Robb spent his life in devoted service to his family, church, and community. After retiring in 2017, he found great joy in working alongside his son, Kole, on his dairy farm in Richfield, Idaho.

Robb was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Berdina Peck; his brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Janice Peck; his sister, Candy Peck; and his bonus brother, Larry Severson. He is survived by his loving spouse, Kathi Peck, and his children: Jason Peck, Jared (Candi) Peck, Tiffany Dastrup, Joel Peck, Ashlee (Bret) Scherer, Chad (Keysha) Peck, Leslie (Jeff) McCurdy, Kami Peck, Kole (Brittnie) Peck, and Todd (Alma) Peck; as well as 34 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Carey LDS Church on December 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will take place that morning from 10:00–10:45 a.m. The family would like to express their gratitude to Harrison's Hope Hospice and to the many friends who have offered love, service, and support.

I remember the first day I met Robb. My family had just moved to Carey and the Pecks lived in the house next door. I walked out of the house to see Robb and his mother in the middle of a water fight. It was wonderful to see the two of them having so much fun. I knew we just moved next-door to a great family. Robb became a good friend as well his sister Candy and brother Scott. As my bishop years later I was some impressed of how he watched over all of us in our ward. He never missed the
opportunity to ask about our family, especially our son Landon, who has Angelman Syndrome. He was a wonderful father and husband to his dear wife Kathi. He will be missed.

I wrote these thoughts on the day that Robb passed away, I just hadn´t been brave enough to share them until today.
Robb was man enough to raise not just one large family, but two large families. He did it all without resorting to polygamy and getting his own reality series on TLC.
Of course he didn´t do any of this alone, he had his wife Kathi working right along side him, raising this large combined family.
Today is surely a happy day in heaven. It made me wish that I had front row seats to witness Robb and his brother Scott embracing, me looking on with my bag of popcorn, licorice, and a big box of tissue, taking in the beautiful sight.
Sending much love, wish that we could have all been there to share the day with you,
Cousin Dave

Rob, I have loved you my whole life. You were an older brother to me and you will be missed dearly. I will never forget how you took care of my parents when they were older. You were a blessing in their life always and I truly appreciated your love for them.
Kathi....love you dearly also.

We will never forget his service and love to our family. He could give the best hugs and such a laugh. One of my favorite memories is when I would walk in their home and fill so WelcomeWe will miss him.
