Ron W. Janson
May 20, 1954 - April 30, 2021
Ron W. Janson passed away on April 30, 2021 at the age of 66 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He was born on May 20, 1954 in Boise, Idaho to Floyd and Luella Janson. He has two brothers, Don and John. Ron attended and graduated from Boise State College from the automotive mechanics program. Ron met and married the love of his life, Kathy Janson and moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. They have two sons, Jason and Scott. Ron worked as an automotive mechanic at Snake River Tire for fifteen years. During this time, Ron also started working on his customer's golf carts. This work grew into Ron's Golf Cart Repair, which he continued with for 30 years. Ron started working at the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) where he serviced and repaired all of the vehicles and equipment on the campus. He also became the locksmith for the campus. After retiring from CSI, Ron continued with his golf cart business. Ron will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Ron is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathy; his brothers, Don and Gail Janson of Longmont, California, John and sister-in-law Susan of Meridian, Idaho; sons Jason and daughter-in-law Judy of Boulder City, Nevada; Scott and daughter-in-law Shannon of Kuna, Idaho; grandchildren, Hailee, Coltin, Jayden, and Wyatt.
A celebration of life will be held in Rosenau's Community Room, on Friday, May 7th at 2:00, 2826 Addison Ave E, Twin Falls, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Ron could be made to Jerome Country Club junior golf or Twin Falls Golf Course or the ALS Association at https://donate.als.org
