Aaron A. Wertz

WARREN - At the age of 49, Aaron Ashton Wertz passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025. After being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, he began to slowly decline before getting abruptly worse a few months later. He passed at home with the love of his family surrounding him. Born in Warren, Ohio to Rita and John Wertz on November 21, 1975, he is survived by his mother Rita, his brother Eric, and his ex-wife Pam, along with the 3 daughters; Tara, Kylie, and Onya that they had together. Similar to his father, Aaron lived a life of building, fixing, and working on things. He was self-employed as an electrician for most of his life, and continued his enjoyment for all things electrical in his free time as well. He lived to work on things, and when it wasn't wired it was cars, dirt bikes, and anything else he could get his hands on. Aaron was a man of many trades, and if you ever had a problem with something, he was who you called to find and fix it. Even after his diagnosis he continued to help others to the best of his ability until his final breath. Aaron spent most of his time with his kids where his knowledge and skill was always being put to good use helping with one thing or another. He has left behind many good memories and stories that will be cherished by his friends and family. To his request, Aaron will be cremated and there will be a memorial for him at a later date.
