Angeline Megyesi

Angeline Megyesi, 91, of Sharon, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell. Mrs. Megyesi was born on July 12, 1933, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Frank) Revale. She was a 1952 graduate of Sharon High School. On April 23, 1954, she married John Joseph Megyesi, who passed away on August 27, 1992. A dedicated homemaker, prior to marriage Angeline worked at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. A devout Catholic, Angeline was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church, Sharon. She prayed the Rosary daily. Angeline was a phenomenal cook and was honored to continue her family's tradition of Sunday spaghetti dinner. Above all, she deeply loved her grandchildren, who introduced her to video games. She looked forward to babysitting them and playing "Wario's Woods" on Super Nintendo. She is survived by two sons, John Paul Megyesi, of Sharon, and David Megyesi and his wife Valerie, of Sharpsville; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Megyesi; two grandchildren, Jonathon Megyesi and his wife Samantha, and Joshua Megyesi; a great-grandchild, Micah Megyesi; two step-grandchildren, Michael Bruner and Brigette Bevly Crosser and her husband Jason; and three step-greatgrandchildren, Kyla and Gia Bruner, and Vivienne Crosser. In addition to her parents and husband, Angeline was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Megyesi; four sisters, Elizabeth Garrett, Catherine Heath, Rose Marie Swartz, and Marsha Gibbons; and three brothers, Leonard, Simon and Louis Revale, Jr. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the American Heart Association, at www.heart.org In keeping with Angeline's wishes, all services are private. Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
