Bonny Way Obituary
Bonny was born on November 22, 1952, in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of the late Robert H. and Barbara E. (Jones) Lowry. She was a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley.
A woman of strong faith, Bonny was a dedicated member of Evangel Baptist Church on Southern Boulevard in Boardman.
Bonny was a devoted homemaker who cherished her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed making crafts for loved ones, shopping, and caring for animals-activities that reflected her generous and nurturing spirit.
Bonny is survived by her stepfather, Vincent Mariotte of Lowellville, OH; her three children, David (Tina) Way, II of Muskego, WI; Kelli Way of Boardman, OH; and Michael (Kathleen) Way of Poland, OH; six grandchildren, Emily, David III, Jacob, Morgan, Aunnie, and Joshua Way; her brothers, Robert (Melissa) Lowry of Boardman, OH; Daniel (Becky) Lowry of New Waterford, OH; and Victor Mariotte of Lowellville, OH; and her sister, Beverly Miletta of Jacksonville, FL.
In addition to her parents, Bonny was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, David W. Way, whom she married on August 20, 1972, and who passed away on October 22, 2017; and by her brother, Vincent Mariotte.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Evangel Baptist Church, 5248 Southern Blvd.in Boardman. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Randy Brunko officiating.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Evangel Baptist Church, 5248 Southern Blvd., Boardman, OH 44512, in memory of Bonny.
