Carmon Bowman Obituary
Warren - Carmon Sequyoh Bowman II, affectionately known as "CJ" passed away peacefully at the age of 33 on March 17, 2026, in his beloved Warren, Ohio, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Born on December 19, 1992, in Warren, CJ brightened the lives of all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
A proud graduate of Warren G. Harding High School in 2016, CJ embraced his role as an assembler at Fairhaven Workshop with enthusiasm and determination. He approached each task with a spirit that was both inspiring and uplifting, particularly in the developmental disabilities sector, where he made a meaningful impact.
CJ's life was a testament to resilience and joy. He faced challenges with a remarkable grace and did not allow his disability to define or limit him. Instead, he thrived in his passions, from swimming to creating beautiful art. His talent for drawing full-length characters freehand from various cartoons never ceased to amaze. His tech-savvy nature enabled him to navigate computers and gaming systems, often surprising others with his ability to play with one hand when most required two. He lived life fully, inspiring everyone around him with his determination and creativity.
A devoted follower of God, CJ had a deep and abiding relationship with his faith. His presence at church services was a source of joy for him, and he treasured the time spent in worship with his family. Every time the doors of the church opened Carmon was determined to be there! On the rare occasions, if he was not attending – there was going to be a problem!! Even at times when his health was compromised, you could depend upon CJ to bless God with a high praise.
His gentle spirit and soft-spoken nature endeared him to many, creating a profound bond that will be deeply missed. CJ leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but the memories he created will continue to resonate in the hearts of his loved ones.
CJ leaves cherished memories with his devoted mother, Minnie Bowman, of Warren, Ohio; his brothers: Marlon Reed (Jamee) of Warren, Ohio, Casey Bowman of Columbus, Ohio, Bishop Cameron Bowman (Sierah) of Youngstown, Ohio, and Christian Bowman of Cleveland, Ohio; and his sister, Susie Bowman of Warren, Ohio.
As CJ crossed the celestial sands of time into eternity, he was reunited with his father Pastor Carmon Sequyoh Bowman Sr. In remembering CJ, let us carry forward his legacy of kindness, creativity, and unwavering faith. His light will continue to shine in the lives of those he touched.
To honor CJ's life, a public viewing will be held at the Jaylex Event Center, 2110 Glenwood Ave. on Saturday March 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM. His life will be celebrated with a service at 11:00 AM and his brother Bishop Cameron Bowman will be the eulogist. After the committal ceremony, CJ will rest upon the serene estates of Tod Homestead Cemetery, 2200 Belmont Ave, Youngstown.
