We could not have been blessed more than when Carole joined Ivy Tech Community College! Whenever someone talked about coming down to visit the Technology Division, they were always quick to mention just how incredibly nice and gracious it was meeting Carole! And how very lucky we had her as our representative! She always made someone's visit special and the time spent in a very warm and inviting atmosphere!
Carole was every bit a consummate professional with her interactions with students, faculty and administrative personnel. She not only completed her tasks with absolute efficiency, she also made the time to discuss any personal matters, offering sage and trustworthy advice.
May you and Tom rest in well deserved peace, Carole!

I had just started my new job as Chair of the Technology Division at Ivy Tech in
South Bend. It was in the summer, so it was quiet in the office. Carole greeted me in her role as the Administrative Assistant in the Division. She had prepared materials for me, greeted me kindly and was sincerely interested in what I had to say. She also helped me through the procedures that I would need to know.
For the next ten years, she maintained that positive outlook, a quiet sense of humor and a dedication to the faculty and students in South Bend. I cannot conceive of anyone who could have been more patient, concerned, and caring toward all of us (students, faculty and visitors).
I liked calling her our "Director of First Impressions"!
I will miss Carole, my friend and colleague,
