Darlene Hunter Obituary

Darlene Ashley Hunter, 52, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025. Ashley was born on May 1, 1973, in Colorado, a daughter of the late Connie P. and Marlene M. Bailey. A proud and happy grandma, Ashley was always supportive, easy to talk to, and loved by everyone. She touched everyone's hearts and was loved by anyone who crossed her path. Her lifelong passion was interior design, but her real work was in how she lived-always willing to do anything to help anyone in need. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her four children: Jake, Lamar Jr., Ladrianna, and Sarai; her beloved grandchildren Violet Mae, Stormy Lynn, and Jared Matthew; her former husband, Mitch Veynovich; and her best friend, Rose White. She was preceded in death by her parents, and now she is home with them and at peace. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 3:00–6:00 PM at: First Christian Church (DOC), 326 South Palmetto Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Arrangements were entrusted to the Kubina-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Boardman, Ohio.
