Deloris J. "Lorie" Hofstetter

HOWLAND – Deloris "Lorie" J. Hofstetter, age 70, entered into eternal rest Monday, October 27, 2025 at Warren Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 8, 1955 in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Howard and Myrtle (Cross) Porter, moving to Ohio when she was a child.
Lorie attended Jefferson (Ohio) High School and later earned her G.E.D. She was a model homemaker, providing a wonderful home for her family, a place they knew they were loved and cared for. She loved to be outdoors, watching birds, observing wildlife, going for walks. She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish – Blessed Sacrament Church.
Precious memories of Lorie live on with her beloved husband of nearly forty years, Jerry Hofstetter, whom she married March 21, 1986; four children: Leslee Frazzini (Ron) of Canfield, Charles Shultz of Vienna, Christopher Shultz (Lolli) of Youngstown, and David Shultz (Rosie) of Lowellville; two grandchildren whom she raised as children, Charlene Shultz (Aed) and Jessica Shultz, both of Howland; thirteen other grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister; and two brothers.
Her parents precede her in death.
