Dixie G. Newbrough

Dixie G. Newbrough, 86, of Leavittsburg, Ohio passed away on November 20, 2024 in Roanoke, VA. She was born October 12, 1938 in Lucedale, MI, a daughter of the late Otis Goff and the late Mary Baxter. On March 21, 1958, she married Richard E. Newbrough after 52 years of marriage he preceded her in death in 2010. Dixie worker at Packard Electric for 8 years in the 1960's. She was a member of Leavittsburg Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, sewing, cooking and family get-together's. Left to cherish her memory are her children, son, Richard A. (Elizabeth) Newbrough of Grafton, Ohio, daughter, Cynthia Vaughn of Roanoke, VA, grandchildren, Melanie Newbrough, Josh Newbrough, Westley Newbrough, Zachary Vaughn, as well as many great-grandchildren and a sister, Johnnie Hudgins of Moss Point, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Richard E. Newbrough, her parents, sister, Pauline Allen, brother, Thomas Goff, son, Thomas Newbrough, son-in-law, Dale Vaughn and a grandchild, Scott Newbrough. Services will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 11:30 AM at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Friends may gather from 9:30 AM until service time at the funeral home on Tuesday. Interment will be in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Warren Twp., OH. In lieu of flowers, make a donation in memory of Dixie Newbrough to Legacy Hospice, 1312 Plantation Road NE Roanoke, VA 24012.
