Felix Ciszewski Obituary
Coitsville - Felix Michael George Ciszewski III, also known as Spike, 73, of Coitsville, went to be with our Lord and Savior with his family by his side on May 12,2025, following a lengthy illness.
Felix Michael was born May 14,1951 in Youngstown, the son of the late Felix John Ciszewski Jr. and Mildred Malva (Milisch) Ciszewski and graduated from Struthers High School in 1969.
He joined the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam War from June 1969 to March 1971. He was an Airman First Class and Buck Sargent and machinists, Troop No.314 F.M.S. He was a disabled Vietnam veteran and proudly served and loved his country.
He was a member of Saint Nicholas Church, Struthers.
Felix Michael worked at Commercial Shearing for a short time. He then owned and operated Discount Quality Auto Parts for five years and worked for Cooper Energy of PA as a machinist for five years.
Felix Michael loved to hunt, fish and ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle along with rebuilding cars. He also raced his Dragster in his earlier years. He was a jack of all trades. He was fascinated with all kinds of guns since the age of 10 years old. His greatest love was woodworking and building things from scratch and even built our own log home.
He went to the school of Sam Naples Master Chun Karate. Spike was in karate for 15 years and was a karate instructor having achieved a fifth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Ji Do Kwan. He traveled all over the world and especially loved going to the casinos, where he always had very good luck. He was a very generous person and loved helping those in need who never knew where it came from. He loved wolves and especially Siberian huskies which he had several.
He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife the former Gloria Jean (Shotts) Ciszewski, whom he dated for five years before they were married on Oct 2, 1976. He was a loving husband and will be sadly missed. He is also survived by one sister Malva Lynn (Clyde) Hughes of Coitsville, his three nieces, Tammy (Pete) Sedor of New Jersey, Cherie (Michael) Leonard of Struthers and Loretta (Steve) Henry of West Virginia, and several cousins.
Besides his parents, Felix Michael was preceded in death by a sister Dolores Jean and (Raymond) Friend.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm where a prayer service will be held at Thursday evening at 7:00 pm by Pastor Richard Lintz. Visitation will be again on Friday morning May 16, 2025 from 9:30 am until 10:15 am all at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, (Thompson Filicky) 4221 Market St., Boardman.
There will be a prayer service held on Friday May 16, 2025 at 10:20 am at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, (Thompson Filicky) 4221 Market St, Boardman followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church, 764 5th Ave., Struthers.
Burial with military honors will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Coitsville.

I especially want to thank Jacqueline, Dave, Clyde, Malva and Mat for all their love and support and help throughout this time along with Hospice of Mahoning Valley for all the care and compassion shown throughout this difficult time.
