Harvey Stanford Obituary

Elder Harvey A. Stanford Elder Harvey A. Stanford 77, departed this life September 30, 2024 at Canfield Health Care. Elder Stanford was born August 8, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Harvey and Lillian Layton Stanford. He graduated from South High School in1966. He had been employed by General Motors for over 20+ years, where he worked on the assembly line retiring in 2012. He was a faithful member of Temple Emmanuel SDA Church where he was an Elder and sang in the choir. He was an avid Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Indian's now known as the Guardians fan. He married the love of his life the former Evelyn Mann in 2000. HE is survived by his loving wife; three sisters; Nancy Stanford, Toni (Benjamin) Ware and Tracey Wimbush all of Youngstown and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two nephews, Keith and Richard Stanford. Visitation will be Tuesday October 8, 2024 10:00-11:00 a.m., at Temple Emmanuel SDA Church, 108 W. Indianola Ave. Youngstown, Ohio with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Services of Dignity and Love entrusted to L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home 1951 McGuffey Road Youngstown, Ohio 44505.
