James Weller Obituary

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the untimely passing of James T. Weller Jr. and his wife Ronnie L. Weller.
James T. Weller Jr. was born February 17, 1958 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of James T. Sr. & Geraldine Lynch Weller. He was a graduate of Liberty High School and attended Youngstown State University. James was the CEO and President of Liberty Steel Industries. Jim was raised in Liberty by two exceptional parents that taught Jim and his three sisters the importance of faith and family.
He enjoyed being outside and riding his bike growing up. He was a hobbyist pilot and ended up selling his plane for a race car. Racing was something that he would later share with his older son Jimmy. Jim from a young age he seemed to excel in anything he tried.
Jim met his wife, Ronnie through Liberty Steel and the rest is history. Their love for each other was
obvious to anyone that knew them. They had a beautiful life together with their two sons, Jimmy and Johnny. So much love between the four of them and their love for God helped them through a racing accident that occurred with their son Jimmy. Jim and Ronnie They always remained down-to-earth and giving under any circumstances. Jim had a tough exterior but in reality, he had the biggest heart and always looked for the good in others.
Some of his hobbies outside of work and family life included, water skiing, snowboarding, racing, going for motorcycle rides, welding, creating things, and fly fishing. All of which he seemed to naturally pick up and do so well at. He never bragged about it and always offered to help teach others, and lend a hand. Raising her two children with Jim was the best part of her life, she loved her sons without end and always put her family first ahead of any of her needs. She was involved in charities and gave aid to those in need. After the tragic accident with her oldest son, Jimmy her faith in God grew.
