Jeri Shipe Obituary
Jeri A. Shipe, 85 of Boardman, Ohio, died June 2, 2024, in Other Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House.
Mrs. Shipe was born October 28, 1938, in Downey, CA, daughter of the late Stanley and Harriet Phillips Duncan.
Lived in Chula Vista, CA for many years and then moved to Mesquite, Nevada for 15 years and after her husband passed, she went to live with her daughter in Anaheim, CA.
She was a Bell High School graduate. Jeri worked as receptionist For Dr. Miller, OBGYN and later for the Eye Physicians Medical Group, both in Chula Vista, CA. She loved spending her time cooking, especially tacos, flower gardening, and more than anything she was a loving, caring person who enjoyed being with her family and laughing and making memories.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Cathy L. Granger of Boca Raton, FL, Jill (Robert) Harvey of San Diego, CA; son, Thomas L. Shipe of Boardman, OH; 7 grandchildren; and her daughter's cat, Snowflake.
IN addition to her parents, Jeri was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Shipe; and a sister, Linda Virden.
Per Jeri’s wishes, there will be no services.
