Joan H. Termine

WARREN – Joan H. Termine, age 91, a lifelong area resident, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 18, 023, at St. Joseph Health Center. She was born June 6, 1932, in Warren, the daughter of John and Helen (Lachowski) Hansel. A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Joan attended the former Christ Our King parish. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crossword puzzles, polka music, playing solitaire on the computer, going to casinos, and her cats. By far her greatest pride and joy was her family – children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook for them, especially Sunday dinners. Loving memories of Joan live on with her six sons: John A. Termine (Nancy) of Warren, James A. Termine (Therese) of Champion, Robert J. Termine (Jacqueline) of Champion, Thomas E. Termine (Marisa) of Bristolville, William M. Termine (Nancy) of Howland, and David A. Termine (Kathy Lamont) of Warren; ten grandchildren: Dan, Tony, Mark, Mike, Stephanie, Jennifer, Maranda, Michelle, Domenic, Sophia and Billy; fourteen great-grandchildren: Riley, Harper, Jake, Ace, Madelyn, Ava, Olivia, James, Kegan, Kara, Leah, Ethan, Rosie, and Teddy; two sisters, Joyce Brutz of Warren and Janice Bates (Ray) of Newton Falls; and two brothers, Jerry Hansel (Patricia) of Champion and Jim Hansel (Judy) of Johnston. Preceding her in death were her parents; her loving husband of forty-five years, John Termine, whom she married July 14, 1951 and who passed October 13, 1996; her brother, John Hansel and sister-in-law, Ann Hansel; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lloyd Norris and Helen Norris. Private services have been conducted. She has been laid to rest next to her husband at All Souls Cemetery In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County at 812 Youngstown Kingsville Rd.
