Linda Myers Obituary

Linda Mae Myers, 78, of West Middlesex, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Ms. Myers was born on January 19, 1947, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Ernest and Viola (Stafford) Pegg, Sr. A lifelong area resident, she was a 1966 graduate of Sharon High School.

Linda was a longtime employee and retired from Packard Electric, Warren, OH.

A phenomenal baker, she will be forever remembered for her cakes. She was also a talented florist and made numerous arrangements throughout her life.

When her son was younger, she was known as an "Avengers Mom" of his drum corps team. She also ran the concession stand while he played high school football at West Middlesex.

Following her retirement, she traveled extensively. A fan of horses, on one of her many trips, she visited Colorado and participated in a cattle drive.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Myers, of Sharon; a grandson, Harrison Myers; a sister, Carol Ann Black and her husband, Robert, of Hermitage; and a brother, David Pegg, of Franklin, PA.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by an infant sister, Bonnie Louise Pegg; and a brother, Ernest C. Pegg, Jr.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Another Chance Animal Rescue, at www.anotherchanceanimalrescue.com

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Monday (11/03/2025) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

A time of sharing will immediately follow at 4 p.m. on Monday, in the funeral home.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
