Just learned from a friend of Mark's passing. Very sad and surprised.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mark in Huntsville for the first time, as he was winding-down his work there and learned he 'was available'. We were very lucky to get him to transfer to Danville, VA, and I had the pleasure of working with Mark for several years. He was always a gentleman, and a professional. I will never forget that permanent smile of his, and his willingness to tackle just about anything that came along - and getting it done. His ability to resolve issues and work with others was exceptional.
Thank you for your help along the way my friend. Rest in Peace my Friend.
Our Thoughts and Prayers go out to the whole Brink Family.

I was very sad and shocked to hear about Mark´s passing. I worked with Mark in three different GY plants and you will never find a finer man, friend, and colleague than Mark Brink. We shared many stories over the years about each other´s families and Mark was told me many stories and great times that he had with them. He loved all of his family dearly!
I considers Mark a very good friend as we fished together, went out to eat, had each other over for meals, traveled together for work and visit a casino every now and then. All great times and great memories for me that I will never forget!
I never had to worry about the equipment in the plants we worked in, Mark always had an idea or solution when things didn´t look well or we didn´t have a part to fix something. It was truly amazing to see how creative he was, he new his business and was the best at what he did.
Mark and I also shared a birthday, October 3rd. He would always beat me to the punch to who´s me "happy birthday", I tried for years to get to him first but finally just gave up, it wasn´t going to happen. You hear the expression "he´s a guy that would give you the shirt off of his back", well Mark was that guy!
Rest in Peace my friend, I will miss you more than you can imagine. October 3rd will be a hard day for me going forward, I will never forget our friendship and all of the years we spent together, inside and outside of a plant. Thanks for the memories!
