Martha Garvey Obituary

Martha Ann Garvey, 79, of Warren, OH passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born March 30, 1946, in Warren, OH, the daughter of the late Alfred Guy Craft and the late Deanna Daisy (Radocay) Craft. Martha was a 1964 graduate of Howland High School. She worked as a press operator at Eveready Battery and as a cook at Sons of Italy. She was a member of the Sons of Italy #2744 and the Slovak Club. Martha loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, crossword puzzles, gambling, Polka dancing, watching Judge Judy and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She is survived by her son, Sean (Lori) Garvey of Newton Falls, OH; daughters, Danica (Jeff) Taylor of Leavittsburg, OH, with whom she made her home; and Leann (Brian) Blose of Warren, OH; brother, Homer "Jim" (Nancy) Craft; grandchildren, Deanna (Kyler), Eric, Hunter, Carly, Ashley (Alex), Harley, Bailey, Cole (Emily), Xander (Cyrus), Faith, Wyatt, Catherine, Zoey, William, and Flynn; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Larry Lee Garvey, whom passed away on December 14, 2020; brothers, William "Bill" Craft and Jerry (Patty) Craft; and granddaughter, Daisy. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
