Nancy Broll Obituary

Nancy Broll, 91, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born November 24, 1932 in New Castle, PA., a daughter of Paul and Rose (Piesto) Sibeto.

Nancy graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She had worked as a layout artist for the Vindicator in the creative service department for 25 years, where she received many awards for her artistic work, and as a freelance artist for McKelvey's, Strouss', Hartzell Rose and Sons and Kimmelman Advertising Agency. Besides her artist talents, Nancy was a great cook and baker, always hosting the holidays for her family and she treasured every moment with them. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching game shows, and loved her cats, even feeding all the neighborhood cats.

Nancy leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Harriet (Rick) Berlin, of Liberty Twp., Howard W. Broll Jr., of Champion, and Rosalind (Dave) Margala, of Hubbard; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by the love of her life Howard W. Broll Sr., whom she married June 18, 1956 and died August 27, 2022; five brothers and two sisters.

Private graveside services were held on Monday at Tod Homestead Cemetery, where Nancy was laid next to her beloved husband.
