Nicholas C. Carson, 46, of Salem, formerly of Lowellville, passed away on December 22, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Born on September 18, 1978, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Roseann (Tomasino) and Larry Carson.
His spirit was nurtured in the small community of Lowellville, where he graduated from high school in 1998, embarking on a life filled with labor, laughter, and love.
In his professional life, Nick dedicated many years driving a truck and had last worked for Schwebel's Co. A man of many passions, Nick found joy in fishing, perfecting his swing on the golf course, or shooting hoops on the basketball court. The outdoors called to him like a faithful friend; he embraced every adventure that came his way, whether riding motorcycles or spending time on the water with boats. His steadfast loyalty was not limited to his hobbies, as he was a fervent Cleveland Browns fan, displaying unwavering enthusiasm for his team through thick and thin.
Nick is survived by his loving wife, Jessica (Bender) Carson, whom he married May 14, 2016, his mother, Roseann Carson, of Villa Marie, PA.; his stepchildren, Lindsay Self and Landen (Emely) Self, both of Salem; his granddaughter, Miylah Rose; brothers, Anthony (Heather) Carson of Columbus and Jeffrey (Suzanne) Carson, of Winthrop, MA; his sister, Lisa (James) DeLuca, of Toms River, NJ; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Bella.
Nick is preceded in death by his father, Larry Carson.
Visitation will be held at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, Ohio, on December 29th, starting at 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM. In our hearts, Nick will remain—an enduring legacy of love and adventure, forever remembered.
