Rachelle L. "Fogel" Martin

YOUNGSTOWN - Rachelle L. "Shelly" Fogel Martin, 68, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, Sept. 20, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. Shelly was born Nov. 13, 1956, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Robert and Lola Patterson. She was raised in Youngstown and also lived in Texas for several years before returning to the area in 2015. She dedicated her life to her family and also held various jobs outside the home. Shelly enjoyed camping, watching football, visiting the arboretum in Texas, and most of all, spending time with her family. She leaves to forever cherish her memory her five children, John Wymer (Rebecca) of Youngstown, Kim Wymer of Tennessee, Shawn (Sara) Wymer of Struthers, Doug Gill of East Liverpool, and Glenn Gill of Livingston, Texas; three brothers, Jerry Fogel and Gary Tresnowsky, both of Florida, and John Tresnowsky of Youngstown; her daughter-in-law, Kelly Oliver; 19 grandchildren, Jessica Jodon, Kristy Dukes, Amanda Dietrich, Brent Wymer, Shawn Wymer Jr., Tamra Wymer, Jeremiah Wymer, Gage Wymer, Paige Wymer, Cameron Smith, Keith Smith, Robert Wymer, Nathan Wymer, Jenna Wymer, Brenna Wymer, Nicholas Pursell, Brandy Pursell, Michal Gill and Havanna Gill; as well as many great-grandchildren and extended family members. Her great-granddaughter, her sister, Carol Hayes, and her brother, Robert Fogel, preceded her in death. Family and friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Shelly's family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kinnick Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
