Randall Blevins Obituary
Randall Blevins, a cherished figure known for his kindness, friendliness, and handy nature, passed away peacefully July 12, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a life well-lived. Born in Hazard, Kentucky, Randall's journey through life was marked by his unwavering Christian faith and a deep commitment to his family and work.
For half a century, Randall's skilled hands were at work as an assembler, crafting athletic shoes for Scholl's Shoes and enchanting coin-operated kiddie rides that sparked joy in the hearts of many children. His industrious spirit later found a home at Parker Hannifin, where he meticulously assembled air cylinders for over twenty years until his well-deserved retirement.
Randall's life was a testament to the joy of simple pleasures. He was an avid hunter and fisher, finding solace and excitement in the great outdoors. His love for softball was more than just a pastime; it was a passion he pursued for almost four decades, showcasing his athletic spirit and love for team camaraderie.
Movies, especially the cowboy westerns, were Randall's favorite hobby. He could often be found, eyes alight with excitement, as he watched the on-screen adventures unfold. These stories of courage and frontier justice echoed the values he held dear in his own life.
Randall was a loving partner to his late wife, Bonita Blevins, and a guiding light to his children. Though his daughter Terri predeceased him, the love and memories he shared with his sons, Randy, Kevin, and Chris, his daughter, Amy, and his love for his seven grandkids and seven great-grandkids remain undiminished. Each family gathering was a reflection of the warmth and affection that Randall so generously gave.
Randall's life was a beautiful mosaic of the roles he played-a devoted spouse, a loving parent, a reliable coworker, and a friend to all. His absence will be deeply felt by those who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide his loved ones.
As we bid farewell to Randall Blevins, we celebrate a life that was rich in experiences and abundant in love. His story does not end here; it lives on in the hearts of those he touched. We take comfort in knowing that Randall's legacy will be carried forward by the family he so adored and the community he so positively impacted. His life was a beacon of kindness and friendship, and he will be profoundly missed.
