ReSean Graham Obituary

With heavy hearts, the Graham family announces the untimely passing of ReSean Jamar Graham Sr, Youngstown, Ohio, who left us on January 24, 2025., Born on November 24, 1982, to the union of Tyrone Graham Sr. and Linda Adams in Youngstown, ReSean was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew him- a loving father, a supportive brother, a loyal son, and a passionate friend. Growing up in Youngstown, ReSean found his calling on the field, bringing life to the game as a standout athlete. ReSean quickly became a star player known for his speed, agility and powerful runs. His dedication and talent to the art of the game were already apparent. From his days with the Eastside Broncos of the Volney Rogers Football League, to shining moments at Calvary Christian Academy of Higher Learning and Woodrow Wilson High School, he embodied the spirit of sportsmanship. The Woodrow Wilson graduate wasn't just an athlete; ReSean was a beacon of hope and determination for the younger generations, passionately coaching the Youngstown Tigers and Title Chasers, instilling in them the values of teamwork and perseverance. Beyond sports, ReSean's vibrant spirit illuminated the local music scene. As a rapper and performer, he left an indelible mark, sharing his voice and message at various venues. As a passionate musical artist/rapper, he performed at numerous local showcases and collaborating with many different local artists. He was a proud fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the Chicago Bulls, his cheering echoing through homes and stadiums alike-such was his love for the game and camaraderie. ReSean's legacy lives on in his beloved children: Reashia Graham, ReSean Graham Jr., Reajon Graham, and Cameron Graham; in every laugh and in every heartfelt moment shared his grandchildren Ray'Mire and Rea'Anna Graham will be treasured moments, as his brother, Tyrone Graham Jr. and sister Alicia Adams embrace a lifetime of precious memories. ReSean will also be missed by a cadre of family, friends and a community that feels the weight of his absence deeply. As ReSean crossed into eternity, he became reunited with his parents, brother, Damon Adams, grandmothers, Shirley Lightfoot and Mae Godfrey Graham and his grandfather, L.C. Adams, each who preceded him in death. As we gather to honor this remarkable man, the Graham Family invites friends and community on Saturday, February 8, 2025, for a public viewing at 12 Noon calling hour at the Jaylex Event center, 2110 Glenwood Ave., and at 1:00pm, the Celebration of Life services will be officiated by Rev.
