Robert W. Mook Jr.

Robert Willis Mook Jr., 91, of Champion, OH passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at his home. He was born April 14, 1934 in Youngstown, OH, a son of the late Robert W. Mook Sr. and the late Martha V. (Bartle) Mook. He married Sandra A. Wiles on January 29th, 1966. Robert was a 1952 graduate of Liberty High School, and was employed as a Byproduct Analyst at Packard Electric for over 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korean War. Robert was a member of Pleasant Valley Church and apart of the Share Outreach. He was an avid blood donor. He enjoyed visiting and chatting with people at nursing homes, riding his Harley, and bowling. Robert also liked to spend time working in his yard. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sandy A. Mook of Champion, OH; daughters, Diane (Robert) Leganza of FL, Debra Wolf of Cortland, OH, Cheryl (Brian (dec.)) Joiner of WA; son, Robert (Colleen) W. Mook, III of CA; brother, Jim Mook of SC; sister, Patricia Best of MT; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Moorehead; brothers, William and George Mook. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Carol Yablonovsky will officiate. Friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on June 7, 2025 at the Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren, OH.
