Ronald K. Roberts

BRISTOLVILLE – Ronald K. Roberts, age 76, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at UH-Geauga Hospital in Chardon. He was born May 12, 1949 in Manchester, England, the son of Kenneth and Marjorie (Clegg) Roberts, moving to the United States in the 1970s. Ron studied engineering and worked as a welder and a draftsman. A true Englishman, he loved his soccer – which was "football" to him – and especially his world-renown Manchester United team. He could fix or build anything and was always quick to speak his mind. Music was his beloved British Invasion groups: the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Who, and others, and he could listen to them all day and night. Precious memories of Ron live on with his beloved wife of forty-nine years, Christina (Malone) Roberts, whom he married Valentine's Day, 1976; two children, Gareth Roberts (Johnene) of Champion and Christan Roberts (Cassie) of Ohio; seven grandchildren: Tiffany Vignero (Ryan), Brittany White (Gavin), Connor, Chase, Carson, Alyssa, and Payton Roberts; five great-grandchildren: Roselynn Alm, Everly White, Emilia Vignero, Greyson White, and Colt Vignero; his brother-in-law, Michael Pritchard of Scotland; and his nephew, Leighton Pritchard (Jennifer) of Scotland. Preceding him in death are his parents; his daughter, Gwyneth Roberts; and his sister, Jean Pritchard. Services are private.
