Rosemary Lamparty Obituary

Rosemary (DiCioccio) Lamparty embraced eternal peace on Monday, January 20, 2025 with full confidence in God's unconditional love and with assurance of the immeasurable love of her family.

Rosemary met the love of her life, Skip Lamparty on February 1, 1969 at the Red Barn in Youngstown Ohio. They exchanged marriage vows on February 1, 1972. It is fitting that a celebration of her legacy of love will be held on Saturday February 1, 2025.

Family and friends are invited to share memories beginning at 9:00am prior to the Mass of Christian burial which will be celebrated at Saint Ann Church 323 S. 15th St, Sebring OH 44672. Following internment, the celebration of this precious woman's life will continue at the Saint Ann church hall at 12:00pm.

Rosemary was a devout Catholic who selflessly gave her time and talent to the Parish community. A commissioned lay leader of prayer, she led prayer at the parish and at Copeland Oaks, served as a lector, extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, CCD catechist, maintained the floral and seasonal designs of the church, brought communion to the sick, planned funeral liturgies and helped with community dinners.

Rosemary graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School, attended Youngstown State and earned a B.S. from Kent State University. She operated Village Corner Crafts, then Remember When in Damascus where her floral arrangements enhanced hundreds of weddings, were worn at school dances, and decorated homes. In all encounters with family, friends, church goers, customers and strangers, Rosemary's kindness was admired and respected. She was an authentic Christian witness, always able to find a positive aspect in every person and situation. Her children and grandsons have an incredible storehouse of fun, laughter and abundant love. Rosemary's kitchen was also a place for her creativity to shine, always preparing nourishing meals, hearty "mystery" soups, and Italian and Polish specialties and pastries.

Preceding her in death are her parents Samuel J. And Helen Tarapchak DiCioccio, in-laws Leopold and Clara Lamparty, and her dear sister Virginia (Ginny) Leskanic.

Cherished memories will live on through her husband Skip, son Jason (Lyuda) Lamparty, daughter Jill (Jim) Lucido, and grandsons Dartagnan (Katie) Lamparty, Cody (fiancé Michaela) Ulbricht and Cade Ulbricht.

She also leaves her siblings to carry her strength, Sam (Becky) DiCioccio, Barbara Walko, George (Lucie) DiCioccio, and brother-in-law William Leskanic, and much loved nieces, nephews and their families, cousins and friends.

If you "Remember When" Rosemary brightened your day, lightened your load through attentive listening, sent you an encouraging letter at just the right time, or any other simple act of kindness, please honor her memory by your own acts of goodness and her peace will be complete.

Go for a walk in the woods and be open to God's voice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Sebring Chapel, 330-938-2526.
